Our Senior Graduation ceremony was last week. I taught almost all of these students, some for two years.
It's a tradition at our school for the just-graduated graduates to take their teachers out to dinner. This year's seniors took us to the same place as last year, a fancy restaurant called The Wall. The girls get their hair done and don gorgeous prom dresses, and the guys wear tuxedos. They shocked us with how beautiful and grown-up they looked. We sat intermingled at long tables for a fancy meal, and drank with them (though the drinking age here is 18, it's always a bit weird to drink with your students).
Damn, we look good!
